Foundation Training:

The foundation training is the most important part of the LRC. It helps PwDs build and improve there ways of communication.

Basic skills

Like Communication, teamwork skills, conflict management, job responsibilities, writing skills – report, resume, letter, grooming and interview, money management, disability rights.

Soft Skill Training

Soft skills also known as people skills. They include proficiencies such as communication skills, conflict resolution and negotiation, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, team building, influencing skills and selling skills to name a few. It is noted that soft skills are important for overall development.

Computer Skills

The LRC provides fundamental knowledge on how a computer works and in what different ways it can be used. Example how to use the normal hardware, functional knowledge of the word processing, how to access Internet, how to use e-mail and how to navigate a computer’s file system.

English language

Since English is used as an international medium of communication in the world and plays a significant role in the society. Hence LRC strongly believes in imparting English language skills to the candidates.

Objective of Foundation Training are

  • To orient the candidates with work life needs
  • To prepare them to be successful professionals
  • To help them appear for and pass interviews
  • To guide them to an enjoyable work life and a successful career

Foundation training basically concentrates on providing a holistic development in the PwD candidate.
